The cinematography in Seeds was inspired by 90’s VHS tapes and the aesthetics of Nacho Libre. The directors wanted a light, comedic tone with a vintage look, saving more dramatic lighting for emotional scenes. In order to achieve this, I rented re-housed Russian lenses from the 1990’s and used high key and natural lighting.
Filmed on the Sony FX3.
